Autism

Autism is very hard disorder to understand. It affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills. They could have impaired social interactions, impaired verbal and nonverbal communication, problems processing information from the senses, and restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior.

People with autism seem to be indifferent and remote and are unable to form emotional bonds with others. They will have not respond correctly to sensory experiences. They will show differently in each individual child. Like a child may have little trouble learning to read but show extremely poor social interaction. Each child will show social, behavioral, and communication patterns that are individual but fit into the overall diagnosis.

Children with autism do not follow the normal patterns of child development. For some children, the signs of future problems may show from birth. Parents might see that their child is starting to reject social contact, act strangely, and even lose language and social skills that they have already learned. The difference between a child with autism and other children the same age is more noticeable.

Autism is found in every country and region of the world and in families of all racial, ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds. The sooner the disorder is diagnosed, the sooner the child can be helped through treatments. Pediatricians, family physicians, day-care providers, teachers, and parents may initially let go signs, thinking the child is just a little slow and will catch up later. Although on that note the impact of lessening the symptoms and having a higher chance of allowing the child to grow and learn new things. There is about 50 percent of children are diagnosed before kindergarten.

The limbic system regulates our emotions, physical and sexual drives, and stress response. It also regulates many other smaller parts of our behavior, if this part of the brain were to become interfered with anything, it would cause problems. The neurotransmitters and neurons themselves can be culprits to interrupt normal regulation of the limbic system. Also, hormones is another way depression can hit, especially in growing teens.

The study of depression and the more we learn we be most helpful to the future of mistreated or even misunderstood people.

How to Tell Apart the Forgetful from Those at Risk of Alzheimer’s Disease

Summary: It can be difficult to distinguish between people with normal age-associated memory loss and those with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI). However people with aMCI are at a greater risk of developing Alzheimer's disease (AD), and identification of these people would mean that they could begin treatment as early as possible. New research published in BioMed Central's open access journal BMC Geriatrics shows that specific questions, included as part of a questionnaire designed to help diagnose AD, are also able to discriminate between normal memory loss and aMCI.

Alzheimer's Discovery

Scientist have found a new discovery about the fatal Alzheimer's disease. They found that Alzheimer's spreads through your whole brain like an infection. It jumps from brain cell to brain cell, infecting it with the memory loss disease. Researchers say that this is a huge discovery and that developing treatments will come faster.
Discoverers also state that this could be similar to Parkinson's disease as well. As more findings are being found, more things are unfolding into greater Inventions. The scientists tested this theory on two mice, where at first thought Alzheimer's was made from bacteria and viruses to the finding that protein called tau Is spreading through their brain. At first tau starts in memory and where it is stored and then works its way up to remembering and logical reasoning. But this will change the way we treat this disease and that Alzheimer's might not be as scary as it is now...

Nightmares

A nightmare is surrounded by hidden dream meanings that cause strong, negative feelings and responses. Nightmares instantly bring a feeling of fear because of the danger and discomfort that it brings to the dreamer. Certain dream symbols direct people to see and connect negative feelings that provides a clinging feeling that inhibits a person to return to sleep.

Nightmares definitely have unpleasant dream symbols that people would wish to avoid. There are many things that aim to keep a person away from nightmares and the dream interpretations that take over fearful thoughts and feelings. Although nightmares bring negative feelings, its appearance in one’s dreams is an important indication to maintain a person’s security and safety.

Some people believe that negative dream meanings are a warning. Nightmares occur because of things that have happened in a person’s life that the unconscious would live to solve.

Following dream meanings may help lessen the appearance of unpleasant dream symbols. Nightmares indicate the abstract means that the unconscious uses to communicate with our conscious. Dreams could solve and overcome problems encountered in life by being guided by the unconscious mind through the dream interpretations it shows. So, whenever you have a weird and fearful dream, keep in mind that your unconscious mind is giving you signals to protect and prepare you to face possible problems that you are experiencing or might happen very soon.
