Game Theory

Resource: Science Illustrated May/June 2011

Dreaming. We all do it and we can sometimes remember our dreams, but can we know we are dreaming and control it as well? People can do this, but video games may help us control our dreams much more. Video games have had the effect on dreams. Gamers can know they are dreaming and control them than people who don't play video games often. Even in nightmares, lucid dreaming and dream control may help us in controlling our dreams and stopping constant nightmares. In theory, playing an alternative reality frequently may help us in the reality that lays within our heads. This may even help nightmares to the point they can be entertaining. Both lucidity and dream control are more effective in frequent video game use and may help a certain type of people.

I believe that this is a well done article. It is detailed and gives enough and only enough information to help the reader understand. I think this is a above the average article. I think this may help the people who suffer from traumatic nightmares where the person may actually not suffer or suffer the least amount of fear in dream, so it may help PTSD or anyone who suffers from constant nightmares.
