Researchers trained 11-month-old babies to be able to pay attention to one object and not be distracted by other things that they see. for example people walking through the room they are in, or other things on a T.V. screen. this improves their ability to pay attention and may improve how they perform in school. It has yet to be seen if they retain these skills or forget them quickly.
I don't approve of testing on babies but this is rather simple and most likely had the permission of the parents.
Parents might train their children in this way to better prepare them for school.
