Why people do what they do
Ever since the beginning of man there has been many incidents that leave
people wondering why? To answer these questions people have developed a
science called psychology and criminology. Why do people commit crimes and
murder? Most people in there right minds would never think of doing such a thing.
But occasionally there are different people with a mind set and think there actions
There are many reasons why psychologists think people do what they do.
Psychologists think the number one reason people commit crimes and murder is
because of money. No matter what the cause most people would do anything to
get their money. Other reasons are jealousy, revenge , power , and love. People
who commit murder usually do it because in their minds what they are doing is
right. For example a person who saw someone beating their spouse would kill the
person and think it would be alright because they saved the spouse being beaten
and possibly saved more people. Our society however would not think that that
was acceptable, and while the killers intensions were good the outcome would be
Psychologists and people who study criminology are still studying the behavior
leading to crimes and maybe one day we will be able to “ nip it in the bud” and
potentially save quite a few lives.
